V45 is a great wax for conditions right under freezing. When V40 starts to lose kick, a thin layer of V45 will usually do the trick in getting back to great skiing! Binder suggestions for this wax is dependent on the snow conditions. In more abrasive conditions we suggest waxes like Vauhti GS Base Super or Start Extra Base. In less abrasive conditins we suggest looking towards Rex Base Wax or Vauhti GS Base AT.
